Supporters of ousted Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak were poised to celebrate his freedom today after years of legal fights, but a court today instead sentenced him and his two sons to three years in prison on embezzling charges, reports AFP. Though supporters in the courtroom erupted in anger, they may yet have reason to cheer: The Mubaraks already have spent that amount of time in prison, and it was not immediately clear whether today's sentence will take into account time served.
