Kanye West didn't vote in last week's election, but if he had, "I would have voted [for] Trump," he told a "shocked" crowd at a concert in San Jose, Calif., on Thursday, drawing boos, reports CNN. Kanye reportedly said he'd been a Trump supporter for a while but had been advised against saying so publicly, per the Verge. Not only was Trump's campaign approach "absolutely genius because it f---ing worked," but Trump "inspired racists to reveal themselves," according to @RaptorJesuss, who live-tweeted the show.
He also said black people should just accept that the US is a racist country and repeated his vow to run in 2020. How the show ended, per @RaptorJesuss: "Kanye then says 'Neither candidate would fix racism in this country' Walks off stage, end of concert. WOW." (More Kanye West stories.)
