Facebook shares climbed 2.4% on Friday to a record $203.23, reports Bloomberg, a performance fine enough to vault founder Mark Zuckerberg past the vaunted Oracle of Omaha on the list of the world's richest people. The surge put Zuck at a net worth of $81.6 billion, which is about $373 million more than Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett. Both men trail Amazon's Jeff Bezos (at $139.6 billion, per Business Insider) and Microsoft's Bill Gates ($92.3 billion), but Zuckerberg's ascension means that the top three spots are occupied by tech barons for the first time. Buffet's slippage is mainly due to his do-gooding ways: He's given 290 million Berkshire shares to charity, to the tune of $50 billion. (Zuckerberg had a less-stellar day on Capitol Hill earlier this year.)
