Montgomery County Judge Stephen O'Neill filed his long-awaited opinion on the Bill Cosby case on Tuesday, and the 81-year-old actor wasn't too pleased with the judge's take on him and his "signature" crime. Neither was Cosby's wife. In a statement provided to Fox News, Camille Cosby had this to say: "Now, after more than 50 years of work, that humanized the dehumanized ... my husband has been severely redefined by Judge O'Neill, despite having zero proof."
She continued: "Judge O'Neill, with a great deal of help from the media, has tried to turn Bill Cosby into one of the most insidious stereotypes of African American men ... the brutal, black buck." Cosby himself provided a statement to Fox that backed up his wife. It reads in part, "I stand firmly with my wife on the foundation of solidarity and truth. ... She's not afraid of this unethical judge, nor am I afraid of O'Neill's grossly immoral tactics." A rep for Cosby added this, in comments to the AP: "O'Neill has a habitual habit of always trying to cover his many errors, which continues to show his hatred towards Mr. Cosby."
