The most unpopular Father's Day tweet over the weekend surely belongs to none other than Bill Cosby, one in which the imprisoned comedian refers to himself as "America's Dad." It appears that Cosby's representatives put it up at his request, reports USA Today. "Hey, Hey, Hey...It’s America’s Dad...I know it’s late, but to all of the Dads... It’s an honor to be called a Father, so let’s make today a renewed oath to fulfilling our purpose—strengthening our families and communities," it reads. Cosby is currently serving time in Pennsylvania after being convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.

Spokesman Andrew Wyatt tells USA Today that Cosby wanted to send a message of support to other locked-up fathers, but as Page Six notes, the sentiment did not go over well. It rounds up reaction, with this one pretty much summing up the tone: “Strengthen families by not being unfaithful to your wife, by not treating young women like they’re on the menu, and by not being a bad example to young men," wrote cartoonist Colleen Doran. (Camille Cosby previously had harsh words for the judge in her husband's case.)
