It's not clear how welcome he is by employees—considering his plan to cut most of them—but Elon Musk has arrived at Twitter, walking around its San Francisco headquarters and meeting the staff. As proof, the billionaire posting a video clip Wednesday showing him entering the building while carrying a sink, captioned "let that sink in," Bloomberg reports. Musk also changed his Twitter bio to read, "Chief Twit," in anticipation of his $44 billion takeover of the company, due to happen no later than Friday afternoon.

An executive announced the visit to employees in a memo saying Musk is in the office this week "meeting with folks, walking the halls, and continuing to dive in on the important work you all do." Leslie Berland wrote that Musk will speak to the staff on Friday. Wall Street welcomed the evidence that Musk is going through with the deal; Twitter shares rose 1.1% to $53.35 at closing Wednesday. Some employees told Axios their feelings are mixed. "People are just exhausted," one staffer said. "It can be conflicting because as a shareholder you're happy, but as an employee, there's a lot of uncertainty." (More Twitter stories.)
